Bill Payment Options
Cookson Hills Electric offers several ways for you to pay your electric bill. Click a link below for information on each option.

You are always welcome to stop in the office at 1002 E Main in Stigler or 1800 KOA/Power Drive in Sallisaw and pay your bill in person. Our office hours are M-F, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. A convenient drop box is located out front of our office in Stigler if you are in a hurry or miss our regular office hours. The Sallisaw office has a drive-through payment window for your convenience with a drop box for after-hours payments.

Automatic Bank Draft

Auto bank draft is the easiest, most convenient way to pay your electric bill. No more checks, no more stamps. With auto bank draft, your payments are transferred to us directly from your bank. CHEC offers 2 billing cycles for residential members. Automatic bank draft cycles 1&3 draft on or around the 8th day of the month.  Automatic bank draft cycle 4 draft on or around the 26th day of the month.  It saves you time and money; and it’s free! Automatic bank draft bill payment is designed for customers who would prefer to spend their time on something other than writing checks each month.
  • You’ll have one less check to write and keep track of each month when you pay your monthly electric bill automatically from your bank account. It’s easy and simple.
  • You’ll see your electric bill payment debited on your bank account statement each month – all automatically.

Automatic Credit/Debit Card Draft

Auto credit/debit draft is another easy, convenient way to pay your electric bill.  With auto credit/debit draft, you pre-authorize CHEC to automatically bill your monthly electric bill against your VISA/Mastercard.  It saves you time and money; and it's free!

Mail

You can pay your bill via the postal service and mail your payment to: Cookson Hills Electric Cooperative, PO Box 539, Stigler, OK 74462 or PO Box 587, Sallisaw, OK 74955.

Online

When you are looking to save gas and make your pennies count, why not use the convenience of online payment. It is simple and you can do it at your convenience night or day and never leave home. This saves gas and postage and your payment is posted to your account that day. There is a $3.95 convenience fee for payment amounts up to $500.00; this can be numerous accounts totaling up to $500.00. Click here to make an online payment.

Phone

You can access our Automated Bill Inquiry & Payment System for your account information and to pay your bill over the phone by calling 800-328-2368. There is a $3.95 convenience fee for payment amounts up to $500.00; this can be numerous accounts totaling up to $500.00.

This is a convenient way to pay your bill using a credit card or your bank account.
