Cookson Hills Electric Foundation Scholarship
The Board of Directors of the Cookson Hills Electric Foundation offers seven (7) $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors each year. Criteria for the scholarship include:

Student must be a U.S. Citizen or a legal permanent resident of the United States.

Students must be classified as twelfth-grade students whose parents or guardians are members of Cookson Hills Electric Cooperative (receives power from CHEC).

Student must hold a minimum 2.5 grade point average (GPA)
- Students must graduate from high school to receive scholarship funding.
- Students must provide proof of full-time enrollment status.

Students must be enrolled full-time in an accredited post-secondary institution as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, including:Community College,Technical, Vocational, or Trade SchoolCollege or University
Scholarship funds will be awarded in two installments if students meet the following criteria:

Minimum of 2.5 GPA during first semester

Enroll in a minimum of 12 academic hours per semester
