AT CHEC
This year has been full of challenges, yet it has been full of rewards. We have battled through supply chain issues and to the end of a pandemic, yet somehow have grown in not only size but also in strength.

Right-of-way clearing project starting with the new year
Crews in the Cookson Hills Electric service territory will begin working on clearing a new area of the right-of-way in January. This clearing of trees, limbs, and brush is an ongoing effort to decrease the number of outages and reduce the risk of someone coming in contact with the power lines.
As we move into the final month of 2021, we are still living through unique and extraordinary times. However, it is exciting times as well. Our new fiber initiative has the potential to have as much impact now as the introduction of electricity did for cooperative members back in 1948.
