AT CHEC

Cookson Hills Electric Cooperative begins 2018 with a service charge increase on electric bills.

Effective with bills due in February (January usage), CHEC will implement an increase in the monthly customer service charge.  As a not-for-profit utility, our goal is to set the rates as close to our actual costs as possible, while maintaining the financial requirements set for by our lending agencies and to provide you safe reliable electric service.

The Board and management of your cooperative takes any increase in your utility costs very seriously, and we are constantly looking for ways to be more efficient and keep expenses down. At CHEC, we are committed to maintaining the success of your cooperative, which means we strive to provide you with excellent service in the most efficient manner possible.
