COVID-19 Update

Your health and your well being are very important to us. in an effort to help our members, CHEC is temporarily suspending disconnections of residential accounts for those directly impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak. We are closely monitoring this situation as it is constantly changing. CHEC will re-evaluate our decision on a week by week basis. We ask that in order to prevent future disconnection once the suspension has lifted and in order to avoid penalties for nonpayment, please keep your account current. We offer many ways to pay your bill without face-to-face contact. Here are some of your payment options:

• Online payment at www.cooksonhills.com via your secure login at SmartHub
• Secure Pay-by-Phone at 888-678-1937
• Kiosks at Stigler & Sallisaw (cash or credit/debit card)
• Sign up for automatic bank draft (visit our website at www.cooksonhills.com under "Bill Payment Options" to sign up online)

Currently, our offices remain open for business, but we are monitoring the outbreak county by county in Oklahoma and in Arkansas, and may decide to close our offices with little warning for face-to-face business if necessary to help prevent the spread of the illness. If we do, we will work with members on a case-by-case basis if face-to-face meetings are necessary. If you are ill, we ask that you please first notify us before dropping a payment in the night deposit or at the drive-thru or office. You may reach us in Stigler at 800-328-2368 or in Sallisaw at 918-775-2211.
